Hi there! this is so fascinating to me as my Grandfather always talked about having a half-sister out there but no other details and we could never prove it. He passed away in 2000. We live in New Zealand, Grandad came over here from England. I would love to know more details!! Can you tell me what year your mother was born? and what country John and Isobell met and had their affair? John Henry was married to a woman named Anabell - nicknamed Bella. John Henry only had one (other) child, my grandad Conrad William Henry born 1921. John Henry's parents names were George Henry Grater and Margaret Etzel.George Henry 1872-1936 and Margaret emmigrated to England about 1899, married in 1894 and had John Henry in 1896. He was the eldest of 9 kids. John Henry born 1896 married Anabell in 1921 and then had grandad that year. John passed away 1968.
