Hi in particular I am looking for an immigrant named Ernestine Beach who would be my great great great grandmother.

She was born in 1849 in Germany and would have come to North America via the Hamburg port as a child. However, I hear that she and her siblings were put in an orphanage in Montreal after her parents died on the immigrant ship overseas. Very sad story and a big mystery.

I've searched high and low. Next step would be to hire a professional. Know anything?
