I am interested in corresponding with all interested in the von Bardeleben family - Arthur Franz Ferdinand v. Bardeleben was born in Kattenbruch and came to the USA with the Hessian Regiment v. Dittfurth. He remained in Charleston after the War and changed his name to DeBardeleben. I am also interested in learning the precise location of the place called KATTENBRUCH (or CATTENBRUCH).
