I`m searching for my ancestors.
My great great Grandfather is Jakob Thelen from Eckendorf in Germany his whife was Margarethe ? and he was a blacksmith.
They had 6 Sons: Appollonaris, Wilhelm, Josef, Lorenz Jakob and Anton
And 2 daughters: Maria (nun in Trier) and Rosina.
Anton Thelen was born 14.02.1908 (in Eckendorf?) and was blacksmith too.
He married Gertrud Ruland born 1910 (Her Father is Jakob Ruland).They had 7 children:
Josef, Christel,Helga, Marlis, Annemarie, Maja,Johannes and my Grandfather Anton Lorenz Thelen.
He married Anna Maria Gassner born 11.11.1933 in Lüftelberg.
Her parents are Erhard Gassner and Maria Elisabeth Wullinger

My other great Gradfather is Josef Gierth. he has married therese Zahn or Jahn.- last adress auerbach, vogtland.
They came from Ohlau in Nierderschlesien (prussia - olawa)
They had 2 or more children. I know only Gerhard and Angnes.
Gerhard married Sybille Höfels. Her Father Jakob Höfels came from France. Her mother was Angnes Quart.
