Searching for information on my 5th great-grandfather Johan (or Johann) Carl MEHLMAN; believe that he may have gone by Carl. His wife was Dorothea, no surname known. Carl arrived in Nova Scotia on 9 June 1752 on the ship "Gale". It seems that his wife and a son, John Charles or Carl arrived in September on the same ship.

The only records I have found for Carl Mehlman thus far state that he is simply from "Palatinate". I would like to narrow this down to a town or a district. Hoping to hear from anyone who may have this family in their line and can help with this. I have a little more information about Carl's son and grandchildren as well.
