Looking for information on the John Studer family from Tulm Canton BerneSwitzerland. My ggrandfather was born Jan. 7, 1855 to John and Anna Studer. When he was 16 his mother died so his father brought him to the USA in may 1871. They settled in Bluffton, Ohio where he learned the shoemaking trade and in may 1875 moved to Geneva, Indiana where he married Susan BAcher dec, 1880. He died in 1939. I would like to know if he has any relatives still in Switzerland. He always said he had two aunts there when he left. I would also like to know if anyone knows what happened to his father who must have stayed in Ohio
