I am doing reserch on my husband's side, his mother's side. My husband's GREAT Gr. Gr. Gr. Grandfather is Jacob Deaner. However I have that he came from Germany and settled in or around Brookneal, VA at Red Hill. He married Sarah Gunnal on Jan. 25, 1785. Thank you for the bio info. about the Am. Rev.
