I am trying to further my research of my 3rd Great-grandmother Pauline Maria Von Stadlin, born 2 Aug 1817 in Switzerland. According to family lore, Pauline was disinherited by her family because she had married beneath her social status to a Johann Weber, a printer by trade. Johann and Pauline were married circa 1837 and had the following children: Mary born circa 1838, Josephine born 26 Mar 1841, Pauline born 17 Oct 1843, Alice born Dec 1844, Bertha born 12 Sep 1848 and Edward born 20 Sep 1849. In Mary Weber Mengis’s obituary it lists her place of birth as Munsker Switzerland but I have been unable to find this town, perhaps a misspelling on Münster? The rest of the children have their place of birth listed as Bern or Lucerne Switzerland.

The only place I can find the Stadlin surname mentioned is in connection with Zug Switzerland. Any help or direction will be appreciated.
