Johannes Crysostomus Pickel (Pickl, Pikel or Pickel)shows in the church matricle books of Seitenstetten, Lower Austria as born as given. Someone made a handwritten entry, that apparently he had died a year after his birth. However, I sincerely doubt that. Through my research I found extended family confirming that during 1920/1925 a family member returned from Amerika to visit the grandfather of my relatives - although there are no documents of proof.
