I hope this reaches you! I think we are related! My great-grandfather was Peter Pignitter who was born about 1855 in
Graz, Steimark, Austria. He married Christina Siegel(?) in 1881. Peter Pignitter came first to the United States about 1892. Christine along with their children Michael,Maria,Josephia,Molly, and Lena came the following year. Peter was a coal miner in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. Peter and family settled finally in Luzerne, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. If this sounds as if this could be your family, please let me know.
