Fidel Ganahl is the correct name. He is my great-grandfather, who helped his brother Christian Ganahl start Ganahl Lumber in St. Louis. I am descended from him through Alphonse Ganahl and Paul Ganahl (who was born in St. Louis, but lived most of his life in California).
